Ghost Janitors is a multiplayer psychological horror game for 1 to 4 players, made for people who love playing horror games with friends. You and your crew are janitors hired to clean places nobody else will touch: haunted houses, abandoned laboratories and a circus that should have stayed closed. The job sounds simple. Pick up the papers, bag the trash, mop the blood, finish the checklist. The problem is that the previous tenants never really left.

Every shift is a loop of tension and comedy that only online co-op horror can deliver. One moment your team is arguing over who takes the upstairs bathroom, the next moment the lights die, someone screams into the proximity voice chat, and the checklist suddenly feels very far away. Ghost Janitors launched on Steam in November 2025 and holds an 86% positive rating from more than 980 player reviews. Six haunted locations, one mop

Each map is a hand-built haunted playground with its own layout, tasks, secrets and things that want you dead:

• The Circus: striped tents, funhouse lighting and a clown that thinks hide and seek is a contact sport.
• City Lights Villa: a modern villa where the city glow outside makes the darkness inside feel even worse.
• Crimsonwood House: a creaking family home with candlelit rooms and a history nobody wrote down.
• The Graveyard: open ground, thick fog, and far too many places for something to stand perfectly still.
• The Laboratory: sterile corridors, failed experiments, and doors that lock from the wrong side.
• Ravenwood Manor: the classic haunted manor, done properly: long hallways, grand rooms, no safe corners.

Ghosts that hunt as a team

The monsters in Ghost Janitors are not jump-scare props on a timer. Each entity has its own behaviour, and learning them is the difference between a clean paycheck and a wipe. The Mannequin freezes when you look at her and sprints when you blink. Linda is fast, aggressive and drawn to careless light usage. The Demon loves the dark and loves surprises. The Experiment is slow but can blind the player it chases. Keep your generator running, watch your lights, and never assume a room you cleaned is a room that stays empty.

Higher difficulties change the rules further, and the hardest mode, Nightmare, has to be earned before you can select it. Bring a coordinated team or bring a lot of spare underwear.
